This custom made plow top flap increases the plow’s productivity by helping to roll the snow forward. This increases the plow operators visibility, and also keeps the snow ahead of the plow, where it should be.
Made from high quality rubber, this plow edge provides 4" of top lip extension on the 66" CTA plow. This additional edge material is made of rubber which has thickness of 1/2" . Please note, this top flap is thicker than most and does NOT use reinforced rubber material as the reinforcement is not needed due to the product thickness. We achieve this special look by using a more robust rubber for the plow top flap.
Please note how the edge of the top flap is solid rubber material and doesn't include the "reinforcement string" found in most thinner rubber material used for top flaps on plows.
The premium kit uses the UHMW edge material to secure the edge and used traditional cap screw hardware with a fender washer under the bolt head, to accentuate the boldness of this kit. It's for those who want a bold look on their plow which also will increase the plows function.
If you would prefer a different look with this same thicker top flap, we can offer this same flap with a steel strap edge and it will use the carriage bolt hardware. If this is something you are interested in, please contact us for price details.
