Material Description

• 4” tall, .75” thick and 54” long, this material is 1” taller and .25” thicker than the rubber squeegee edge sold by Deere for their small plows.

• The additional 50% of thickness will extend the edges useful life to several seasons of typical use.

• This material is uncut, so it can be used on any smaller plow up to 54” wide, both front plows and rear 3ph plows.

• Please note, this edge must be properly secured with a steel mounting strap to function correctly and provide an extended useful wear life.

• We sell the mounting straps or if your plow’s steel wear edge is less than 1.75” tall, you may be able to use that edge as your mounting strap.

• Eliminates the banging of the blade of the pavement during use.

• Squeegees the pavement surface clean and improves the plows function on different surfaces.

• Intended to be used on plows 44” to 54” wide where the plow owner wishes to install their own HD Rubber Plow edge.

• You will need to cut the mounting holes for your plow. If your plow has a steel wear edge, you can use the wear edge as the template for your hole plug cutting.

• Please do NOT drill the holes in this material. The density and flexibility of the plow do not respond well to using a drill to make holes. The material expands into the drilled hole and reduces its size.

• The kit includes a Plug Cutting kit, which is sold with this material to help you cut the proper mounting holes. A hand drill is required to use the plug cutting tools.

• When you install this edge, its going to require longer mounting bolts than currently used on the plow due to the thickness of the rubber.

• We can provide the correct mounting bolts at an additional charge if you can provide us with the size and style of bolts presently used on your plow to hold the steel wear edge.

• This is a length of the heavier duty plow edge, without any pre cut mounting holes. The kit includes a plug cutting set for you to plug cut the proper mounting holes in your rubber edge.

This kit is for those who are willing to perform the hole layout on the rubber and cut it to fit their plow, and then plug cut the holes.
