Our UHMW wear bar protects the blower housing, the mounting hardware and the pavement by providing a wider, taller and thicker wear bar. When using our UHMW shoes with the wear bar, its very easy to adjust your blower to accommodate and benefit from all of this additional wear material.

Our SBS wear bar has a surface wear area of 141 sq inches for the 47” blowers and 162 sq inches for the 54” blowers. The UHMW Quick Hitch Blower shoes are easily added to the blower when its installed on the tractor. Adding the shoes takes just 5 minutes per shoe on the blower and involves just a few bolts each.
The tools required includes metric sockets for the existing steel blower shoes hardware.
The shoes are removed and installed with either combination wrenches or sockets.
Please note, while some older Deere snowblowers use SAE hardware most blowers made in the past 15 years use metric hardware. We use all SAE hardware to make the installation easy and to allow the use of common hand tools.
Please make sure to use all proper safety equipment and safety methods when working on your equipment. We don’t want to see anyone injured from working on their equipment.
Make sure to wear gloves when handling the steel blower shoes as they often develop a very sharp edge from grinding on the pavement…..Watch the shoes as sometimes, the metal splinters on the edges and base of the metal blower shoes and can leave you with wicked splinters in your hands. Be careful.
