This part is custom made to replace the John Deere Steel wear bar which fits on the bottom of the Heavy Duty Deere 47" snowblower. This part is a crucial wear bar to protect the snow blower housing against the surface wear which occurs as the blower is pushed across the pavement.
Our wear edge is custom machined to perfectly fit your blower.
The snow blower wear bar in the 47” Heavy Duty Blower is flat with holes in the center and wear holes off set between the mounting holes. If the wear bar on your blower doesn’t look like our pictures, you may not have a Heavy Duty Blower. Please contact us if you have any questions.
It is made of UHMW Plastic, which is the most wear resistant plastic material produced.
Our wear edge is extremely wear resistant and will provide seasons of use when used for typical residential use and as directed*
Shipped with the stainless hardware to mount to your blower. Stainless hardware is the most corrosion resistant hardware made. (also costly)
When paired with our UHMW or Rubber blower wear shoes, it changes your blower from one which grinds on the pavement to one which glides across the pavement with little sounds and no surface damage.
Between this wear edge and the blower housing shoes, these components protect the blower against wear. They also protect the pavement against abrasion from the blower's steel housing.
This part is made from UHMW material which is highly abrasion resistant and intended to be used in high wear environments. This edge mounts in the same manner as the OEM steel edge, using bolts from the bottom of the blower housing and lock nuts which secure the wear edge the bottom of the blower.
Made to bolt right in the same location as the steel wear bar sold under Deere part number M142881. This is a complete kit to replace the steel wear bar on your blower.
